Brittany and Shaun

 

The "BIG DAY" is rapidly approaching for my sweet sister Brittany! She is marrying Shaun Gaxiola on Saturday, August 15, 2009 at the Historic Shelton Chapel. It's going to be beautiful!

I took Britt and Shaun's engagement photos, and I think they turned out pretty good! This was my first adventure into the world of photography...

Anyways, Congrats to Brittany and Shaun!

Baby Rollerblade

This is THE doll! I am almost positive that this is the doll that Mack got and it was soooo cute! Even if she didn't, I still like the fact that the doll is rollerblading with the big girls at the roller rink! I love the womens faces when they see the doll!

Now, THIS toy was definately one that MacKenzie got - and I remember fighting over it because me and my other sis Brittany were so jealous! Haha!

This is an old commercial for a doll that I REALLY wanted!!!! Sadly, I never got it, and even though MacKenzie didn't get this doll either, she got a really cool doll on roller skates.

Arizona Trip July 2009

My sister MacKenzie had her new baby boy, Ryan Michael Burk on June 28, 2009 at 12:34 AM! He is so cute! So, natch, my mom and I HAD to go to Globe, Arizona to go see the new addition! He is so cute, and cuddly and just a sweet baby boy. These are some of the photos (out of the 200 that I took...).
While we were down in Globe, it was Brookie's 2nd birthday! I can't believe she's 2!!! Some of her favorite sayings are: "I not!" "Potty?" and my favorite - "I'm bad! I know it!" The story behind that is, while we were there, I took Brookie with me to go get dinner, and while we were in the car, Michael Jackson's "Bad" came on the iPod. We were dancing and singing and then when the song was over, she looked at me and said, "I'm bad! I know it! I'm bad! I know it!" It was so funny! So all week, we kept asking Brookie if she was bad, and she'd say "I'm bad! I know it!" It was priceless!
It was sad to leave, but the Burk fam will be back in Idaho in August to see Britt walk down the aisle. Can't wait!
